What is SMS Ticket Delivery and how does it work?

SMS Ticket Delivery allows customers to receive a link to their tickets via text message instead of email. This feature is available to organisers using Stripe as their payment provider.

SMS delivery is offered automatically at checkout for paid orders. Customers choose between SMS, which has a small delivery fee shown at checkout, and Email, which is free. SMS is selected by default on paid orders, so customers who prefer email can switch to it. The SMS fee is non-refundable and is not part of your ticket revenue.

If SMS delivery is selected, the customer receives a text with a link to their tickets on their mobile phone. Their receipt is still sent by email. SMS delivery needs a mobile number, and it isn't offered on events that send a receipt only.

Customers can also add their tickets to their Apple Wallet or Google Wallet for quick and convenient access on the day of the event.

This provides customers with a flexible and convenient way to access their tickets without needing to search through their emails.
