What is the Find Best Seats feature and how do I enable it?

The Find Best Seats feature allows customers to select their preferred seating section and the number of seats they require, then automatically find the best available seats based on their proximity to the designated focal point on the seating chart.

Find best seats is on by default for Event Seating and Event Mixed events. It needs a focal point on your seating chart, set in the Seats.io designer: the focal point decides which seats count as best. If your chart has no focal point, the option won't be shown to customers.

To turn it on or off, open the event, go to the "Event" section, and tick or untick Offer "Find best seats" in the "Find best seats" box under the seating map. Then click "Save event".

When it's on, customers see Find best seats above the seating map: they choose a section and how many seats they need, and the best available seats are picked for them. Your box office has the same option when you sell seats for the event.
