In case you missed them: The biggest platform updates this year (so far).
Terry's Take
Back in our very first issue, I mentioned we were working on something called Membership Management. That was issue one. It's taken a while to get right, because we wanted it to actually work the way organisers run memberships, not just look like it does.
It's live now, and I'm genuinely proud of what the team has built.
If you run an ongoing organisation, a club, a venue, a season program, anything with a return crowd, this changes what's possible without you needing a second system bolted on the side.
Thanks,

In Focus
What would it be worth to turn your most loyal attendees into paying members? Or, if you already run a membership model, what would it be worth to stop chasing renewal fees and tracking expiry dates year after year?
Most organisers already know who their regulars are. The trouble has always been formalising that relationship: tracking who's a member, applying their perks at checkout, chasing renewals, without it becoming a second job.
Membership Management handles that structure for you, directly inside the platform you're already using to sell tickets. The module works alongside the events your organisation runs, automatically verifying membership at the point of ticket purchase and applying the right discount straight through the event ticket page. It's currently available to organisers on White Label Ticketing, so if you've already got your own branded booking page set up, you're ready to go.
123 Tix Platform Update
Membership Management V1
You can now create and manage memberships end to end, including importing your existing membership database if you're moving across from somewhere else. Set up multiple benefit types, ticket discounts, free tickets, early access, exclusive perks, or other member-only offers, and apply them to selected events or your whole calendar. Benefits can be capped per booking, per event, or extended across an entire family membership.
Renewals can run automatically, with members notified a week out before their next payment, either one year from their join date or a fixed date you choose. Members can deactivate their own membership if they no longer want it, and you can message your whole member base directly by integrating EDM or or SMS whenever you've got something worth telling them.
You'll need your own Stripe account connected to activate memberships. If you're not already set up with White Label or Stripe, that's the first step.
Next in Line
Membership Management V2
We're already building on this. V2 will bring further advanced membership features, we'll share more detail as it gets closer to release. We'd love to hear from our organisers, what features would benefit your team and customers in an updated membership module? Reach out and let us know.
A Gentle Reminder
We sent a dedicated update earlier this month on the RBA's new card payment surcharge rules, coming into effect 1 October 2026. If you haven't had a chance to look at it yet, or you've got events going on sale for dates after that, it's worth a quick check now rather than a scramble later.
In short: from 1 October, a separate surcharge can no longer be added to designated Visa, Mastercard or eftpos payments, so any card processing costs need to be built into your advertised ticket price instead. If your event currently uses the Pass On Fees option, this is the thing to review first.
Questions? Get in touch with our team, we're happy to help you get sorted before the deadline hits.
Industry Watch
Memberships are becoming standard practice, not just for major venues.
Across the leisure and events industry, more organisations are moving from one-off ticket sales toward formal membership structures, even at a regional or community level. It's a shift from hoping people come back to giving them a reason, and a mechanism, to commit for the year ahead.
Did You Know?
Did you know your membership data connects with the same marketing tools you're already using?
Your members can sync into your existing Mailchimp or Campaign Monitor integration, right alongside your regular attendee data. That means you can build dedicated campaigns for your members without maintaining a separate list or manually keeping two databases lined up.
One Action. One Click. One Improvement.
This Week's Action
List your ten most loyal repeat attendees, and think about what you'd offer them as members.
Even a rough shortlist of two or three benefits, an early access window, a small discount, a free add-on, is enough to start shaping what a pilot membership could look like for your organisation.
Help Other Organisers Find Us
If 123 Tix has made your events easier to run, we'd love it if you could share that on Trustpilot. It only takes a minute, and it helps other organisers know who to trust with their next event.
